I thought that I'd post a couple from Burlington Iowa also.

we saw a few birds, eagles and ducks.

A few of them were flying back and forth from the river to the trees.

Every now and then, one would smile for the camera.

At some point in time, I figured out that it was just a family reunion.

Thanks for looking

dave.

OMG! I would never have thought of using eagle decoys in trees to lure flying Eagles in closer for pictures. That is simply amazing. I can hardly believe my eyes. That last picture qualifies as an Eagle infestation. Thank you for posting this. I would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Well OK, your eyes through the lens of your camera.
Fantastic,
Steve

Thanks guys.

I was one of a group of 8 that went down to Burlington that weekend.
buzzsaw went down a few days later.

One of our group had gone down the weekend before and posted a shot with
over 90 eagles in it. That's when I knew that I was going. The fishing shots
came out good and I'm glad I got a few good shots like that. But my
favorite ones are the mass groupings. I may never see that again.

Here's a couple of kid pictures.

Thanks again, dave.
