A few shots that I have recentlyposted on a local site. They are quite strict with the critique, which is a good thing, so I've tidied a few shots up, and thought I'd post/repost here, also to share some animals/birds from our side of the world for those who haven't seen them yet.

Elephants are a difficult subject to shoot, cause if they're not doing anything special, it's just another elephant shot. I liked the way this herd converged on this little waterhole, had a quick drink and then moved us out of their way, cause that's where they wanted to go, right where we were parked.

Lastly, a Lilac-Breasted Roller, it's main feature, the lilac breast, just visible, but the good light and pose making up for the missing front-view.

Hello Jake! Only one word, Excellent!! You set the standard IMO for this type of photography! The first shot of the elephants, the Emerald spotted dove and the Lilac Brested Roller are my favorites in this group! JakeTPegg = professional in every sense of the word!

An excellent job onALL of these Jake!! It would be hard to choose a favorite, but mine would be the Waterbuck Bull if I just had to..... followed by the Burchell's Coucal.

Your photography and processing skills just keep getting higher. Thanks for sharing these from Africa!
