Coyote & Geese

While in Reno on business I went down to Washoe Lake. A little lake South of Reno.

Pentax K10D - Bigma

I saw something moving in the grass in a field just before I got to the lake. I used my binoculars to find out it was a coyote.

The field with a close up

I was able to get him to stop with a elk calf call. He ignored my crow call. I carry 2 different calls in my shirt pocket any time I am hunting wildlife.

Geese at the lake

With a close up

Nice, Roger. That's a scenic place there, and I like the coyote shots.

You're making me homesick Roger! Great shots of the coyote. I was there over Christmas when i visted my family in Carson, took some great shots of a Northern Harrier. Looks like you visited the new wetland reserve area?

Kent you could be right about where I was. On the way in to Reno I saw this little lake off to the right so when I got a break I went back down to it. Thanks for commenting and for taking the time to look.
