Taken with my first digital SLR back in 2004......just going through some old photos. Hope you enjoy a taste of Kansas wildlife. C&C welcome.

That's a nice catch on the Meadowlark, Mandy. Most of the time they keep their back turned to me and don't expose that colorful breast.

I know Kansas has some huge whitetails....have any of those?

Sorry no whitetails. When we are out and about in the country you don't see many. I see plenty in the morning darting out in front of my car on the way to work:evil:

Thanks Roger, There were quite a few Meadowlark scattered about in this field. When we approached in the road all of them scattered but this one. I think it's because he was too fat to move:lol:
