First shot from Sigma 70-300 APO



I only had a short period of sun today to test out my Sigma 70-300 APO. What do you think? Much lighter than my Sigma 170 500mm and 1/3 the cost.

Looks like you new lens is a Keeper. I have to choose #1 as my favorite.

And I like the impressionistic/Japanese silk painting feel of the second one. It's subtle and artistic appearing rather than documentary.

My Sigma 70-500mm is on its way to EBay and replace it with a Nikon 70 300mm VR in the future.
