OspreyLand - 2007 Nest Remodel

Ma & Pa were real busy trying to get their nest ready for this year. This is the couple I named Ma & Pa Dam, cuz their nest is right by the dam at El Vado Lake.

MA!!!! Move over just a little



The left upper corner is the perfect spot



This grass will be softer than those damn limbs



Drop and run maneuver



Oooooops!!! Looks like I missed.

Nice shots as usual Roger, I wonder if they loose their nest buildig skills using the man made platforms instead of using tree branches?

I believe they construct these plateformsto sway the Osprey from building on utility poles which over time can't support the large nest let alone a safety hazard for the Osprey..

BTW Roger, great captures! Is that Avatar photo for real? Cause if it is WOW!
