Turkey Vultures in flight

I really like the looks of these guys when the sun is shining thru their wings. Evening sun for these photos.

Nice shots Roger, looks like you were up pretty high for some of the shots.

There are some cliffs above the river by the lake and the Vultures like to use the updraft winds by the cliffs so I head that way about anytime there are winds from the west. Thanks for the kind comment and for looking.

Wacky roger. You have a gift of turning an ugly bird into a beautiful picture (like those turkeys in the snow). I like the backlighting through the feathers. Keep those BIF shots coming.
