Beautiful bird and nice capture! The bill is similar to some Kiskadees, but guess they are like a woodpecker?

I took it as a woodpecker the first time I saw it as itwas hard on pecking the barkbut found that it was called a barbet in the textbook.

Thanks for viewing. Here are 6 others of the same bird in my inventory of this colorful aviary bird. 1-3 with a Tokina 400 f5.6 and the D200 in one aviaryand 4-6 with a Nikkor 80-400and the D70 in another. Hoped you like them.
