A first time sighting for me - a Yellow Rumped Warbler, taken yesterday. I found this bird flitting from bush to bush in the park where I like to wander during my lunch break. It wasn't very cooperative - branches everywhere - and I wasn't too concerned with a high quality shoot. I just wanted to capture it so I could get back home at the end of the day and check my Sibleys and find out what the heck it was, 'cause at the time I didn't know and had never seen one before. I went back today to look for it but had noluck. Still, I'm happy to have seen it.And here itis.

Good shootin' Dan. I know what you mean about being cooperative. These guys (or gals as I think this one is), are tough to catch..sitting in the branches and leaves and not in the open too often. Good catch...cheers.......Don

That's pretty good, Dan, considering how hard it is to catch them sitting still and in any decent lighting.

Thanks all.And do you think that I've been able to find it again in the same area where I first saw it? No way!

Been there 3 times since. Well, maybe tomorrow. Cheers, Dan
