Colouring looks like a Grackle. This one must be wet, or it has it's feathers done by the same hair dresser as rock star, Rod Stewart.

I think You're right. This one is under "Eurpoean starling" in my guide. It appears that they, not the grackles, have the "Rod Stewart feathers". Grackles are longer, sleaker, and not quite as iridescent.

The one pictured is a breeding male.
