Went to the lake today. This nice couple let me climb down a small bank and get with in 12-15 feet of them. About every 5 steps I'd stop and snap off a few shots, but they stayed pretty still... for about 40 photos worth....

Thanks Roger and Royce. I wasnt originally going to go to the lake but was talked into it.... As soon as we parked and started walking towards the bank, my girlfriend spotted the drake first then saw the females head pop up from behind a rock a minute or two later. I just wish they were that easy to sneek up on more often...

Out of the 45 picture or so, it was hard to pick which ones to post..... these were the ones that stuck out the most for me... I love the green head of the mallard so #3 would have to be 'one of' my favorites also....
