OspreyLand - Pa with lunch

Since I have been stuck here at my place re-doing the area we sell photos. I have been going thru some old folders. Theses are from about a week ago.

I finally figured out which tree Pa likes to stop at on his way back to the nest with food for Ma. I am fairly sure Ma is on eggs so I am staying away from the nest as I don't want to bother her.

Here is Pa with his fish

Here is Pa with his fish with a close up

A little closer look

Great exposure Roger.

How do you get such a deep blue sky and not underexpose the Osprey?

When I expose for the bird I blow out the sky. Please share your secret.
I can only assume it is done in PP.

Thanks

Jeff

Jeff, all I do is aim and shoot. My camera is pretty much set on automatic. I use corel photo paint to open my photos but didn't do anything to the sky. If I remember right I hit auto fix and sharpen once. Thanks for looking and for commenting.

Thanks for sharing Roger. I like your Keep It Simple Silly (KISS)principle for processing your photos. You get outstanding results! Must be the photographer? or the camera? or the memory card? Keep' em coming! Cheers, Dan

I try to live by the KISS principle. For me it makes life a lot easier. Dan thank you for the nice comment and for taking the time to look.

E-mails asking - Why the head first???

My guess is because of the babies.

So the female can feed the chicks the softest meat which doesn't need to be chewed or coughed back up like undigested bone. She can also feed the chicks faster without the head. This is only my guess but in my mind it makes sense.
