These two little fellows were out to observe some tennis this morning. I'm assuming they were sparrows, although I couldn't find any variety of sparrow that matched them perfectly, andI have one picture that shows a very long tail. I think, though, that my bird book is simply limited in showing juvenile forms.

Not a BIF shot, but a BTAF (Bird Thinking About Flight)

These look to be Rough-winged Swallows. No1 is an adult (which would be the onewith the longer tail), 2&3 are ofa fledgling.
