Nice captures - don't complain, they're fine. Looks a lot like the Allen's Hummingbirds I have in my back yard, but I don't think they reach BC, soyours must be an immature male Rufous (they are fairly similar). :cool:

great hummer captures don! those little guys don't stay in one spot very long.
nice color on the flowers too. an easy trick that you can do to smooth out the remaining background noise is to use the blur tool on photoshop (if you have it). you just run the circle over the background and it will smooth things out nicely. at this point the background noise you have isn't very much at all, but it's a neat trick that i use on my pics all the time.
