Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback, the second shot has been a good seller recently. :-) I spent some time up near Duluth, MN trying sometime in my blind to get a shot of an American Kestral when this moment happened, gotta love surprises.

Perfect in every respect. Must be taken with a Nikkor f2.8 afs300mm.

WK, thanks again. :-) Also, you are correct, I use the Nikkor 300mm F/2.8 prime lens fairly often, often accompanied by the Nikon 1.4x teleconverter. If the reports I've read on this lens are true, then it is the sharpest, most contrasty lens in Nikons line.

Those are really great, love the sharpness of the second one even though he's running. Nice scenery too, great job!

Thanks Highway and again Lundy! The second one always seems to get peoples attention and will be entered into a few photo competitions this year... we'll see how it does. :shock:
