Thanks Jim, Tom, and Hung. Yes, the crossbill is a different looking bird. Never saw one until this year. They're quite tame, and are not shy of the camera. Very social bird too. Hang around in groups like waxwings.

The owl was a treat to see again. I think it was trying to sleep. Looked half asleep at times...........cheers....Don

Nice series, Don. Looks like you walked right up on the Owl. I like the reflection in the eyes.
