Was outside testing out my new Sigma APO DG 70-300mm when my feeder was bombarded by these little guys. Snapped away lots of pictures and the keep rate with the K10was suprising higher than with my *istDS, mostly in part to faster burst rate and faster focus speed. Here are just some of the keepers. Exif attached, C&C welcomed!

Very impressive. #4 is outstanding, but the "down the throat shot" in #5 has got to be the hardest one to get, and the most unique - makes you want to duck!:O Well Done!

Thanks for the comments. Hung, some of your pictures were the ones that made me want this lens so bad. We miss you over at the Pentax dSLR forums... How's the Canon treating you?

Nick,

I miss participating in the Pentax forum. You guys were so much fun and it was like a family. I have yet to find another forum quite like it.

However, I'm pretty happy with my canon gear. It has worked out very well for my photography needs. So how do you like bird photography?

- Hung

I love shooting bird, or trying to at least, BIF is something I have not tried to tackle. I had a couple great chances at the lake last weekend to catch some birds grazing the water, but I didn't have the camera. The next day I went out there again, camera in hand... and didn't get any of the same oportunities. I will definately be posting over here more often, that is if I can get some wildlife pictures worth posting

So, I've gotta ask: What settings did you have for these shots?

ISO, speed, aperature, focal length..........

Did you process RAW's or just shoot jpg's?

All shots taken atISO200, at/around1/500", f8,and 300mm. Exif is still embedded so you can pick up Opanda's iExif and check it on all my pictures individually. All were shot as10mp Jpegs.
