Beautiful picture. The fine detail is excellent. As mentioned before I continue to marvel at the wide variety of colourful and strikingly beautiful Chinese birds, you post.

The Leisure Services Department would be happy to death reading your compliment. As a matter of fact, they deserve a big pad on the shoulder for the effort to keep the aviarya good resting place forthe species collected. The species living inthe aviary are neverbored with the way of life in there as they are well fed and provided with enough space to fly around. There is also a pretty big kingfisher living in it, but few people can shoot it, and I think he is the loneliest species of all in the aviary.

I am now waiting anxiously for the south-bound migratory birds to pass through Hong Kong. By then, more opportunity will be possible for shooting the wild speciesin the countryside.

Great shots. That first one...the feather detail almost looks liquid like....very strange and beautiful....Don
