I came across a guy who was feeding the local Chipmunk population along a secluded park trail. Lucky for me, I had my camera.

That second one is the funniest thng I have seen since the pictures of the racoons in the cherry tree. This little guy is in a hurry to get off with as many peanuts as he can. His cheek pouches are full, he has one in his mouth that won't fit in, and he doesn't know what to do with the one in his paws. What a model of inefficiency - think of how many more he could stuff into his cheek pouches if he shelled them first! :-) Great shot - thanks for posting it (and the others, too).

I agree. That one is one of my favorites simply because of the story it tells.

Thanks for the comments.

The first 2 shots of this animal are some of the best squirrel shots I've ever seen, and I have spent a whole lot of time either photographing or chasing away that subject. The first one, with the hand, is amazing primarily because the hand and arm are clearly "kind" and the animal senses that clearly. The pouch mouth second shot is simply another shot that was able to be taken because you have found a way to have those creatures trust you completely, congratulations, excellent shots. Photo wise, and technical wise, the first two are masterful.
