This is not the greatest shot I've ever taken, but I couldn't help but be amused at the aggressive stance taken by the wren when the chickadee landed on the very large feeder at the local botanical garden. The wide stance almost seems to scream "Draw!"

It's nearing the end of the season for hummingbirds, but there were still plenty working the feeders this morning. This female ruby-throat took a break in a nearby tree.

Meanwhile, a male was still working the feeders while they had a little bit of nectar left in them.

Looks like the bird in #1 is...... Getting Ready To Rummmmbble !!!....almost a wrestling stance.
