Got closer than usual to this Kingfisher. Was not in a better position as far as lighting but not bad, I thought.

great details on the wings of #2.
i have yet to bag a kingfisher. nice work on #3

Kingfishers have been quite a challenge for me lately, very hard to get close. It appears 400mm was long enough for this one.

Great shots! The Duck is beautiful. And the Kingfisher..well it looks like it was pretty cooperative compared to the little bu__ers we get up our way. Like trying to find Jimmy Hoffa....cheers...Don

Those Kingfishers are a tough catch! (As we all know) I hope to get a really nice one someday.
