Last weekend, early in the morning, I was in the right place at the right time for a show by about 50 pelicans...These guys were feeding in an area between the beach and the sandbar...I kept waiting for a big collision but the built in radar they have must be really good...No crackup's all morning...For those who like pelicans, here is a shot of 1 landing and 1 taking off...

nice capture. these subjects are backlit. if you use ps cs2, try adjusting highlights and shadows a bit to bring out more details in the shadows.
