Shot with the 100-400 tonight, I liked the "reed" backdrop to the action. Thanks for looking

Classic shot, Norm. Duck taking flight from a shallow area with the reeds....and water droplets falling from the bird. Nice job!

Thanks Julie and VP, pretty soon those ducks will be long gone so I'm going to focus a bit on them...weather permitting, of course :roll:

Very nice shot. I love the reed background too.
Fortunately for me your loss will be my gain, and I thank you. I can't wait for them to stop over down here. Don't worry, I'll send em back in the spring. :G

Thanks all, I sincerely appreciate your comments on the shots. Soon most of the birds will be gone and I'll need to pick up a good warm coat and go out looking for chickadees, magpies, and robust woodies who remain in Canada throughout the cold spell. Yeah, spell. I have more sincere and expressive words for that. :lol:
