Good stuff smac,

That tammy seems to do better in your hands than what I have seen in others.

One of these days I will be out there in Sacramento again and hopefully being able to get some shots like yours.

I shoot the D200 and still learning its little nuances. It's nice to see others continue from where I remember where I started.

Thanks Tom, It's always good to hear from you and be reminded of the good ol' days. I have a D300 pre-ordered and hope to have it time for some shots at the refuge this season. I am also saving for the Nikon 200-400 VR lens. But that day is still a ways off in the future. Good to hear from you and thanks for the compliment.
