Don...these are the best shots I can remember seeing of a Kinglet!! The detail, color, and exposure are super. Not to mention the pose and on a clean perch.

Looks like you were eyeball to eyeball with this one.

Thanks very much VP. Yes, I was eyeball to eyeball with it. I had to reset the distance switch on my 300L to 1.5 meters instead of my usual 3 meter to infinity setting. Nice for a change to have an easy subject....cheers........Don

Nice job Don! Opportunity knocked and you answered, Outstanding detail and character in those shots. Very cool. I especially like the pose in #2 but they are all super.
