here they come. I have placed some of them in the Pentax DSLR thread to but here they come again :-)

stunning photos, Walter! #7 and 9 are my favorites. i love the colors of these birds... were you using a blind? kingfishers here in the states are not nearly so colorful, but are extremely skittish and hard to approach...

wow! i love the blue colors on the kf. the saturation is spot on. a 600mm manual lens huh? impressive technique!thanks for sharing.

Hello squirl033,

Sitting in a selfmade birdhide for hours and hours waiting that he or she is comming. These are in the same way very skittisch. They fly away for evry sound they hear or seeing something moving.
