love that 2nd shot. the great eye contact and sharpness of the pic really brings the image to life. i'd print that shot and frame it.

Tom, she's very skillful with her beak. She flips the fish in the air turns one to swallow and catchs the other.

Personally, I like the back lighting. These are gorgeous. Are these with your new D300. I saw some of your other post on another forum and they were spectacular.

more terrific shots... you give me something to aspire to! now i just need a blind, and a spot where i can set up close where a kingfisher will be, and most of all, enough time off work to make use of it all! :G
