Brutally cold this weekend (Canada ay?) so not much chance to get out. Here are two views of the same chickadee from last week.

I like all three...especially the BIF. Your Chickadee's seem bigger up north. What are you feeding them? :G (I know it's the cold weather)

Those little Chickadees are super, Dan! I guess yours are Black-capped and not the Carolinas? The differences are very hard for me to tell.

Yes, by default up here we just call them chickadees, but they are in fact black-capped chickadees. They're smaller than white-breasted nuthatchesthat we have here and about the same size as the red-breasted ones. Numerous, active and downright friendly. They arecrazyabout sunflower seeds. I like the Chickadees, too. The way they are fluffed up, it looks like it was cold last week, as well.
