Very cool Ellen.

This bird had black legs and yellow feet. How strange. I agree.. looks more like an angora sweater to me...

bill, i was actually trying to get a pic of those rain-slicker-yellow feet since in all previous pics the bird was in 'knee' deep water. i got lucky catching this shot out of the batch of the bird on shore. i do love the patches of color on this bird.

i would still like to get some pics of its feet, tho', to go along with my moorhen and coot feet pics. :-)

hung, i shoot with a panasonic lumix dmc-30z. it's basically a semi-pro snapshot camera with a 12x leica zoom lens.

i'm afraid i dulled this pic down a bit too much . . . the grass and palm fronds should have more color saturation . . . but the bird looks good! :-)
