Deer grunt (call) works

I set up to catch a couple of bucks I had been watching and while looking around I saw antlers moving so I got ready and sure enough this young fellow was in a draw going the opposite way I was expecting, so I use my deer grunt (call) to get his attention.

Looking for the other deer (grunt call).

When I saw this I smiled cuz it looks like he is wearing a jacket made of snow.

I was able to stop him on top of the draw with a crow call.

I received a couple of E-mails asking about deer sounds. YES deer are pretty vocal, if you sit real still and watch and listen you can hear them talking. Their voices are pretty quite so you have to really pay attention to hear them.

Here is a link to some deer sounds.
