Moving the feeder to a new location proved popular with the neighborhood chickadees this weekend. I knew they would find it, but I was a little surprised when I saw American Goldfinches, the first I had ever seen in my yard.

Tufted Titmice are not nearly so rare, but it is rare for one to pose so nicely

Even a Downy Woodpecker stopped by for a visit
