Not the best shot of a Ring-necked Pheasant. Severly backlit but shows the tracking capabilities of the D300 foucs system. Anyone who has hunted these birds knows that they are famous for exploding out of the underbrush and scarring the heck out of you. I wish he had jumped on the other side of the truck so I could have captured the brilliant colors. Ah, next time. Next time.
