Took these shots yesterday, this kestrel was hovering over scrub near the waters edge. Unfortunately the weather was dull and this shot was quite noisy but worth keeping as I rarely get shots of these birds

Taken with canon30d and 400 5.6 L handheld ISO 650 F 5.6

I commented in the Canon forum on these shots, Julie, I reiterate here, that last shot with the turned head is a very, very cool photograph and an extremely tough one to capture since these birds don't fly slowly.
