Nice variety from the backyard, Duane. I like the Kinglet, I don't normally see them not in motion :-)

Beautiful Duane! I'm very envious of your backyard. Looks like you've got a nice setup for bringing in the birds. Nicely done!...cheers...Don

Ditto on the Kinglet. I know we have 'em here but haven't ever seen one (yet). Your back yard isa meeting point for various species of birds. You're very fortunate! Nice work Duane. Regards, Dan

Ooops, sorry - forgot to mention that they're all fine captures, Duane. My Send finger is fater than my mind .

BTW, I notice that theDark - Eyed Junco in your part of the worldseems browner than ours - which tend to go to grey & white. Cheers, Dan

Thanks everyone...I was surprised the Kinglet came out somewhat in focus....out of 5 shots of him hopping from branch to branch this is the only one that came out decent. 3 were blurry "in air" pics out of the 5.

And Dan.....I have been trying to figure out if I have two varieties of Juncos because some seem to have more black in them and some others have more brown in them. This one was shot a month or so ago and it's kind of in-between the two.

Duane, yes I see what you mean. Here's one from a couple of months ago - just to illustrate the colour differential.

Excellent postings, Duane, that first one with the harmony of color throughout is really a great photo.
