Buck Shadow (The Shadow Knows)

I spotted a bull elk and while tying to stalk in closer I found a Mule Deer Buck laying down in the sun. I didn't want to disturb him so I back off and went around. He looked so peaceful.

Where the elk was that I found with a close up.

love the muley shots roger . looks like a little cheater on the left side of the rack . next year he will be 5x4 hope he gets wider in the beam that would make for some excelent muley shots . i wouldnt push that buck much stay in good standing with him and he will reward you with some excelent images.

Great shots once again Roger. The buck in the last shot looks at peace! How far were you from the animals?
