got another sunny day today, but cold... took a walk to the park anyway, and was rewarded with some nice shots of teals... these are a couple of the better ones... shot with the 40D and Sigma, 400mm, 1/200 @ f/10...

Holy crap!

Beautiful photos, the first making me completely jealous! The second making it even worse for me, how can anyone get better? You need to slow down a touch you squirrel you. Seriously, wow! Did you notice in the last "blur" shot that the "water" drops are in focus? I have no idea how that happened

Don't do that! It hurts in a nice way

Norm, for the longest time i saw your work here and hoped someday to be as good. coming from you, this is high praise indeed...

as for the water drops being clear while the duck's head is blurred, i can only assume the duck's head was moving significantly faster than the droplets! which makes me wonder how he kept his beady li'l eyeballs in place!

Brilliant shots Rocky! I love the 2nd with the shake of the head and water drops caught in midair. Also, you got that little band of teal on the side that is so often hidden..well done!...cheers..Don
