Beautiful shot. I got excited yesterday because I spotted the first group of waxwings I've ever seen in Arkansas. My photos, though, weren't nearly as nice as this one.

Excellent shot! Great sharpness and detail. Did you take this in the Reno area? I livedin that section of Nevada for over20 years and neverran across a waxwing.

Good job!

Incredible shot! Hey, I'm in Woodstock, Ga. Do you go somewhere special for birding?

Congrats on the first sighting, and a very well photographed record of the experience. I know that I was pretty excited when first spotting these birds.

We have a small group of birders with me and another friend of mine doing photographs while others ornitholigists. We have been roaming around Atlanta quite a while. Mercer University is where we spotted these waxwings.

You are welcome to join us in our weekend adventure more than spotting birds
