another of those bouncy little birds that simply won't sit still... there were a pair of them playing tag along the railing and in the brambles, and i managed these shots of one. would've preferred some catchlight in the eyes, but oh well... with these little fellas, ya takes what ya can get! 40D, 100-400L.

Wrens are always scolding. The first two remind me of a cable news anchor - its mouth is always open! :G

One of my favorite birds. You captured its personality perfectly. Looksa little thin.. must have had a rough winter.

what a unique looking bird. i don't think i've ever come across one. these are fantastic shots rocky. nice work on the exposure for the first one which was backlit. all the details came through great. a catchlight would not have been possible so it does not bother me.
