Got out today shooting for the first time in a couple of weeks. The first shots are of a Northern Flicker who was pounding away on this snag, and then checking out the accomodations below. The Black Tail was one of the many wandering around the local sanctuary...cheers...Don

The deer shots are extremely good, but the shots of the flicker are superb. They're not a common bird around here, so I've struggled to get anything close to a decent shot. Very beautiful birds.
