And there was, this young female had found the bird food that my wife had put out for the wood ducks.

So, I go and grab the camera thinking I only get so long for this. Only I forget to cancel the flash and I'm shooting through glass......Wah!!! Big surprise for me and her. Didn't scare her away though so I ran a off a few more shots with the flash off. She still has chicken scratch and seed on her big rubber nose. That's the garden shed porch in the background.

Olympus E500, 40-150 lens.

I know I heard something.

Probably wasn't her first visit before being captured with your camera.

That's one startled looking doe. Flare or no flare, it's a great capture.
