Default My first pics

I just upgraded my Kodak DC4800 to a Canon 300d. Today I was able to give it a test run. I am very much a beginner, if you have any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Here are the pictures,

Thanks for looking.

Oh my. So crystal clear. You are well on your way!

My favorite is the middle one--the brick corner. Great perspective.

Joshua B - I really like the second shot as well. Thanks for the positive comments.

UniSonBBS - I allways think the same thing.

jazcan - I'm glad they are clear. I felt bad having to optimze the images for the web.

So far I am very happy with the camera. You will be seeing more pics from me.

Thanks all.

Hi chubby___

Welcome

Great use of depth of field on your pics.

My fave is the third one for following reasons...

Composition...

Exposure...

Cropping...

digcamfan - That picture was hard to get focused...the wind slowed down just enough to get it. Thanks for the comments.

Klaus DK - Thanks for the tip. I am going to play around with the cropping.

melanie - The secong picture was almost just like you said. I was walking to my back yard and I caught him out of the corner of my eye.
