another productive day at the park... much better light today! here's the female belted kingfisher again. she was hovering over the lagoon looking for something for lunch. she never did make a dive, but i couldn't resist the shot... 40D, 400mm, 1/1600 @ f/8...

thanks. yes, i took the image my avatar came from. it's a soap bubble that landed on a stalk of grass and didn't pop right away. i took it with my 30D and Sigma EX 80-400 at 350mm, handheld at 1/250, f/5.6... here's a link to the original...
