I'm horrible at the whole bird identification thing, and I couldn't figure out an answer form whatbird.com. These 2 photos were taken athome in New Jersey.

The first one looks like a female Cowbird, and the 2nd could be a Junco, but not 100% sure about that one...Nice shots...cheers...Don

Thanks, Don. There have been brown-headed cowbirds around, but I'm unsure about the dimorphism. Thanks for clearing that one up!

I thought the 2nd one could be a Junco, but the pink beak is throwing me...

The Juncos around here have pink beaks. That's why I thought it was a Junco..D.
