Magpie + Fat Little Bird

I have no idea what kind of bird this is but I had been parked in one spot for about 3 hours and he decided he was not afraid of the camera wagon.

Roger, your "fat little bird" is a local specialty -- a male Dark-eyed Juncoof the Gray-headed form, in the US found only in Arizona and New Mexico, right where you are.

The Magpies are really sharp and crisp.
