The second one is truly exceptional, but it took me a while to figure out what was going on with its neck - rather than someone tryng to make it look like a dragon, those blue things on the back of its neck are actually featherson the top of the left wing being drawn up into the vortex caused by the stall as the bird slows for a landing. Some days are slower than others! :roll:

As the others have already stated, that second shot is killer! I haven't seen you post in a long time. Where ya been?

Thanx Hung - I've been working a lot of six day weeks. That doesn't leave much time for yardwork, ect. - and even less time for shooting wildlife. I haven't been able to get back to try for some shots of the chicks and that's very irritating.
BTW, here's a shot of a pair mating - lasted less than 30 sec. and there were no cigarettes smoked. He just flew off, but returned later.
