Yellow Headed Blackbirds

This was a good capture for me cuz every one I have is on a fence or a cat tail. 1st ones in a tree.

Those are nice Roger, I rarely see them around here, only when they fly through in the spring and then only for a day.

Very cool looking bird, Roger! I have never seen them before. I was thinking that Illinois must not be a part of migration flightplan but, if Tom has seen them in Wisconsin, they probably do fly by. You know I would be willing to bet that there is an interesting Indian story about they received the yellow splotch from the Great Spirit. Sorry, I just find those type of stories interesting!
