Work and taking care of the little rugrats have kept my camera on the shelf as of late. I was finally able to get some shooting in last week.

1) The Forster's Terns are back at Bolsa Chica. I love how sleek and aerodynamic they look.

2) I caught these guys playing tag on the handrail.

3)

4) Bringing home dinner.

5)

Thanks for looking and commenting.

Nice ones, Hung. There have been several Gull-billed Terns seen there lately (rarelyfound North of San Diego and the Salto Sea), so keep an eye peeled for them, plus the usual Elegants, Royals, and Caspians.

Great shots Hung, the third one is the one I like the best.

This is really a state-of-the-art bird in flight shot. Very graceful and elegantflight motionbeing captured here. The depth of view was someticulously calculated thatour attention can go nowhere but on the terns.Perhaps, this is a shot that I can never come any closer despite repeated practice and further investment in gears. This is my email address: [email protected] and I would grateful if you could post me a suitably sizedexif version of this shot so that I can put it on my desktop as a wall paper. Really a great feast for the eyes viewing this wonderful shot.

Thanks Penolta. I'll have to keep an eye out for them. Sometimes I find it hard to ID a tern flying around in the wild, until I get home and examine them on my computer.

Thank you Peter. You honor me. What is the size of your monitor screen? I will reprocess this pic so that it will fit your screen appropriately.

Thanks Tom. Terns are alot of fun to shoot. They are always zooming around and quite playful with each other. Glad to see that spring has finally arrive in your parts.

How about 3200X2400? I usually use this one for wall papers. I am a computer idiot, so you can decide the size for me. My monitor is 17in by diagonal length.
