been a while since i posted any pics in this forum... been busy with landscapes and such - and saw remarkably few birds in Utah and Arizona! anyway, the clouds finally broke today, and we got some sun, so i went to the park to take my camera for a walk, and spotted this sapsucker searching for supper. had to shoot through a little gap between the branches of a willow to get these... thank God - and Canon - for spot focus!!

Awesome shots Rocky! Never seen one of these up here. Man, that head is red! Great stuff!

Talk about the skies clearing. It's been so gray here that I'm starting to believe a blue sky is just a myth.......cheers....Don
