spotted this flicker at the park today, acting a lot more like a robin than a woodpecker... :? i guess they're opportunistic enough to catch supper where they can find it, not just in trees...

Flickers normally feed on bugs and grubs on the ground. Nice capture.

Very nice Rocky. The Flickers do spend a lot of time on the ground grubbing about for bugs etc.....cheers...Don
