As usual lately, I haven't been at this site much. And, as usual, there are so many great pictures here!!! Great job everyone!!! So, here's a few from the last few weeks.

3. I've been keeping an eye on a pair of flickers nesting. This is the male poking his head ot waiting for the female to return.

4. Had a hard time getting a bead on this little guy going to the feeder. I don't like feeder shots so I replaced the feeder flower with a real one. All else is the original pic.

5. I guess snapping turtles can climb trees!! This one I found on a stump.

6. Lastly. I found a bluebird nest site in a swamp so I tried my luck at flight shots. Didn't have much luck.

Great pictures. I've never seen a turtle on that high of a stump before, but they have amazing strength and those big powerful claws....I know all this from personal experience.

Tremendous pictures......I wish I had taken them.

Nice shots. #6 is especially gooe -the feathers lifting up on the backshow that the bird is in an aerodynamic stall on final approach to the nest! :-)
